In Remembrance of Susan Moriarty and Barbara Quinn
Women’s Sertoma Club of Venice was fortunate to have these two women as members. They will be missed by the club for their tireless and cheerful volunteer efforts.
Susan Moriarty
Susan was born June 24th, 1966 in Boston MA and died in Sarasota on September 12, 2020.
Susan loved serving people and her community. She was a member of the Sertoma Women’s Club of Venice and Mothers Helping Mothers and always looking for ways to help those in need and conquer homelessness. She was a computer science teacher at Sarasota Middle School.
For Women’s Sertoma Club, Susan was active in many projects and had only recently worked on revising the website.
Barbara Quinn
Barbara Quinn, 79, of Venice, FL, formerly of St. Louis, MO and New York City, NY, died on December 18, 2020. Barbara was active in the Women's Sertoma Club of Venice, FL, and volunteered at the Venice Police Department. Barabara had chaired the Women’s Sertoma Club of Venice Sun Fiesta for 2 years and was always known for encouraging the club to excellence.
